SOUTH KOREA - South Korea has secured an additional pollack fishing quota of 19,500 tons from Russia following a bill passage by the South's parliament to prevent illegally caught Russian crab transactions, the fisheries ministry said Sunday.

Last May, the two countries agreed to set South Korea's fishing quota for pollack for this year at 20,500 tons, which is half of last year's allotment, reports Yonhap News Agency.
