OIE: Viral Haemorrhagic Septicaemia Outbreak Reported in Croatia

CROATIA - An outbreak of Viral haemorrhagic septicaemia has been reported at a trout farm in Croatia.

The outbreak occured on a freshwater farm in Stupe 18, Kostanjevac, Krašic, Zagrebacka.

The outbreak affected 22 of the 23,000 trout susceptible and led to 22 deaths.

The source of the outbreak is inconclusive but there has been movements of live fish to the farm in the last two months.
