New import and export guidance issued for live aquatic animals in case of no-deal Brexit

Regulations Policy +2 more

Defra has updated its guidance for the import and export of live aquatic animals in case of a no-deal Brexit.

Producers who import or export live aquatic animals for aquaculture or ornamental purposes to and from the EU will need to take extra steps in order to avoid delays. The guidance covers live fish, molluscs (including bivalves) and crustaceans. Animal health certificates are not needed for the import or export of scallops. However, producers will need to have a product certificate.
