After sharing the different experiences that have taken place in recent years, tools have been found to be available, both technological and management, making it possible to improve energy efficiency and fuel economy of ships fishing.

In this context, an updated catalog of available technologies to improve energy efficiency of fishing vessels has been agreed.

In parallel, the autonomous communities have committed to submit proposals on measures for fisheries management that allow fuel and the results have been verified.

Funding for technological adaptation of fishing vessels necessary for these purposes may be addressed through aid under the European Fisheries Fund.
