DKSH has recently introduced the FOS-certified pangasius filets to Multicedi, a retailer operating in the Campania region of Italy, through its agent Varriale.
Area manager for seafood for Europe for DKSH, Thomas Schefer, said, “Italy has shown a strong growth in pangasius over the last two years, the focus however was on offering cheap product."
“Multicedi is therefore giving a strong signal to the consumers, showing that they are serious about offering products from sustainable sources, even if they are more expensive purchase.”

Friend Of Sea Pangasius Now On Sale
VIET NAM - Swiss market expansion group DKSH is now selling Friend of the Sea (FOS) certified pangasius to Italian retailer Multicedi, the first retailer in Italy to offer FOS certified pangasius, reports the Vietnamese Seafood Exporters Association (VASEP).
