Fish Testing Costs May Increase 30 per cent

VIET NAM - According to the draft circular of Ministry of Finance (MOF), some kinds of administrative fees paid by fish producers, exporters and importers may increased by 30 per cent compared to current levels.

Specifically, costs for testing residue of antibiotics on fish products plan to be increased to VND360,000 - VND490,000, 30 per cent higher than the current level of VDN280,000 - VND380,000, reports VASEP.

Fees for granting certificates, import permits to seafood enterprises is 25 per cent higher than current level (VND40,000).

According to the draft, fees for auditing seafood facilities are from VND200,000 to VND1.8 million. Many kinds of new fees are also supplemented in the draft.
