Fish Processing Plant Built in Puerto Las Palmas

ARGENTINA - The National Health Service and Food Quality (Senasa) opened a new fish processing plant in the Chaco town of Puerto Las Palmas, in a ceremony attended by the President of the Agency, Marcelo Miguez and the provincial governor, Jorge Capitanich.

The fish processing plant was built with the latest technology, following the recommendations of Senasa professionals, the Ministry of Industry and the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA) and operates with a specific cooling system for the production of pacu.

On-site infrastructure is also used to interleave rice production and pacu.
