Fish Hygiene Training Given in Golfito

COSTA RICA - Fishermen, fish processing plants and fishmongers recently participated in a training day on the regulatory requirements for good hygiene practice and manufacturing of fish products.

The main objective of the workshop was to improve the safety level of seafood.

Ensuring the safety of food is necessary to the health control of the entire chain.

In the case of shellfish and fish, it is important to have good health control from from "sea to the table".
