The price of eggs and chicken fell 2.1 per cent and 0.3 per cent respectively compared to the previous week.
The price of meat continued a downward trend, with the price of mutton, pork and beef down by two per cent, 1.9 per cent and 0.1 per cent respectively week on week.
The price of aquatic products dropped 0.4 per cent compared to the previous week, with the price of grass carp, large yellow croaker and chub going down 2.1 per cent, 1.2 per cent and 1.1 per cent respectively.
The prices of grain changed slightly and prices of edible oil remain unchanged.
The average price of 18 vegetables was down 5.6 per cent week on week and 7.2 per cent compared with that in the Spring Festival.
This was led by the prices of balsam pear, cucumber and green pepper, down 13.8 per cent, 9.6 per cent and 9.5 per cent respectively week on week.
