The prawns are farmed with no use of antibiotics. The farming sites were found to be managing their potential environmental impacts properly, preventing impact on surrounding ecosystem, managing water parameters, waste and energy appropriately.

GLOBAL - Fredag's prawns come from sustainable aquaculture in South East Asia. The farms were audited by an international certification body and were found to be compliant with Friend of the Sea strict sustainability requirements.
