The diseases referred to in this resolution are: Epizootic Hematopoietic Necrosis (EHN), Infectious Hematopoietic Necrosis (IHNV), Viral Hemorrhagic Septicemia (VHS), Infectious Pancreatic Necrosis (IPN), Infectious Salmon Anemia (ISA), Bacterial Kidney Disease (BKD ) and Salmon Rickettsial Syndrome (SRS).
Note that this legislation provides that the live fish, eggs or gametes likely coming from aquaculture establishments of the country, can only enter the zone previously declared free with papers on their respective electronic transit (DTE), which specifies the condition of the lot as being free of notifiable diseases of salmonids in Argentina.
In addition, importing live fish or eggs or susceptible to diseases covered by this resolution from countries or areas with a lower health status is prohibited.
Finally, for entry into the area of ??fishing and navigation equipment coming from other areas or countries, the presentation of a certificate of origin is compulsory.
Since 2006, SENASA has conducted a monitoring programme for wild and farmed salmonids in the basin of the Limay River and Reservoir Alicurá.
