This amount represents 20.2 per cent of the total amount allocated to this fund, which is equivalent to the actual weight of the Spanish fishing sector in the European Union.
Despite the current budgetary constraints, Spain will receive in the period 2014-2020 €30 million more than in the 2007-2013 European Fisheries Fund, up 2.7 per cent from 1.131 million.
