Sunshine Coast Warm-up for Australasian Aquaculture 2008

AUSTRALIA - Sunshine Coast TAFE and Tropical North Queensland TAFE are getting ready to present AquaEd 2008.

AquaEd 2008 is the biennial industry conference aimed at aquaculture educators for primary and high school, VET and University, industry workplace trainers, aquaculture HR managers and interested stakeholders working within the aquaculture industry.

WARM UP FOR THE MAIN EVENT

Presented as the pre-conference to Skretting Australasian Aquaculture 2008 (AA08) and specifically for educators and related professions, AquaEd 2008 is designed so that delegates can attend both conferences.

AquaEd 2008 provides a forum for teachers, trainers and related professions in the seafood sector to review and update themselves with latest practice. This year’s theme of “Rising to the Challenge, Building Capacity” will review the role of training in the industry, increasing student participation, job outcomes and engagement with industry.

AquaEd 2008 provides keynote presentations from highly regarded aquaculture educators, workshop style and discussion sessions and the opportunity to network with industry colleagues. This is truly a conference not to be missed.
