Sudan co-operates with Indonesia to develop fishery sector

SUDAN - Sudan will work with Indonesia to develop its fishery sector, said Sudanese minister of agriculture and forestry Mohammad Al Amin Kabashi Isaa.

During a visit to a fish pond project in Karawang, West Java, he said that Indonesia had a long experience in the field and therefore "we wish to cooperate with Indonesia, especially in shrimp pond farming."

The Sudanese minister has been in the country since July 26 to reciprocate Indonesian agriculture minister Anton Apriyantono’s visit to that country last May.

Isaa said the Sudanese government is also interested to cooperate with Indonesia in the field of agriculture and plantation.
