Farm in a Box – a producer of modular land-based aquaculture solutions – and ReelData AI – an aquatech company – have announced a strategic partnership to develop next-gen prefabricated farming systems.

Together, the companies seek to revolutionise the land-based aquaculture industry

The partnership follows years of collaboration between the companies, and combines the plug-and-play advantage of the Farm in a Box land-based fish farming modules with ReelData’s cutting-edge AI solutions, which are designed to optimise feed conversion ratios and growth rates, provide accurate biomass estimation, and deliver precise fish counting.

By teaming up, the companies aim to develop next-generation modular land-based farming systems, providing farmers with scalable, cost-effective land-based aquaculture solutions.

If successful, both companies will be set to benefit from the partnership, with ReelData’s AI technology enhancing the functionality of Farm in a Box’s modular systems, and the partnership opening ReelData up to a wider customer base.
