Stop order expands on Vietnamese fish

ALABAMA - Alabama&#39;s agriculture commission expanded a stop sale order on Vietnamese fish Thursday to include a product mislabeled as &quot;Wild Caught Grouper.&quot;</b> <br><br> Agriculture Commissioner Ron Sparks in August issued a stop sale order on all Vietnamese farm-raised fish and seafood products in the state of Alabama to include grouper, sole and flounder. <br><br> He said Thursday&#39;s action is a result of continued testing of Vietnamese brands of fish by his department. <br><br> The original stop sale order in August was for more than 200,000 pounds of product, which included about 115,000 pounds that was mislabeled as &quot;Vietnam Wild Caught Sole.&quot; The product was actually pangasius hypothalamus, also known as &quot;sutchi catfish.&quot; <br><br> <i>Source: Montgomeryalabama</i>
