Following the outbreak, the farm has harvested around 24,700 Atlantic salmon, weighing roughly 3.12 kg each.

Strict sanitary controls are now in place at the production site, King salmon, and the company is working with Sernapesca to control the outbreak.

Multiexport produces around 19,905,000 Atlantic salmon and trouts. The affected cage therefore only represents around 0.12 per cent of the total amount.
