New ISA Outbreak Suspected in Halsa

NORWAY - A new outbreak of Infectious Salmon Anemia (ISA) is suspected at sea site 10224 Korsneset in Halsa municipality, Mre og Romsdal county.

The Food Safety Authority first received the warning about ISA suspicion on 10 April 2015 from the plant owner Salmar.

Fish suspected of having ISA were slaughtered over the weekend 18-19 April.

The Locality is located in a control area for ISA which was created on January 12 2015.

The locality is situated in what is defined as a fighting zone.
