Aquaculture for all

NAA Moving to a Bigger Pond

US - The National Aquaculture Association will settle into a new home Monday on the campus of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.

According to KATV, the 19-year-old trade association is relocating from Charles Town, West Virginia to Arkansas because of the university's aquaculture and fisheries center, Executive Director Betsy Hart said.

The group is the largest nonprofit trade association for aquaculturists in the country, with about 2,000 members, including members from affiliated groups, Hart said.

Affiliates include the U.S. Trout Farmers Association, the Striped Bass Growers Association, and the American Tilapia Association, which also will be moving to the UAPB campus.
