The Buckie based company is a finalist in the in the Highlands & Islands Food & Drink Awards in the Development of Export Markets category, and has been short-listed as Protein Manufacturing Company of the Year in the Food Manufacturing Excellence Awards.

Over the last five years Lossie Seafoods has developed into a truly international business with a global customer base. Last year we sold to 98 customers in 24 countries, with exports accounting for 93 per cent of our sales volume.
Lossie Seafoods, which is part of Associated Seafoods Ltd, was founded in 1913 and is now one of Scotlands leading premium smoked salmon producers. The Highlands & Islands Food & Drink Awards will be held at the Drumossie Hotel in Inverness on 19 October, with the Food Manufacturing Awards being staged in London on Monday 5 November at the Park Lane Hilton Hotel.
