Livestock Expo to be Hosted in Kuala Lumpur

Nutrition Health Biosecurity +4 more

KUALAR LUMPUR, MALAYSIA - Southeast Asia is presently one of the biggest producers of aquatic products including fish and prawns/shrimps in the world.

The number of farms has grown significantly in recent years as a result of depleting catches and increasing demand. Farmers are also moving towards pelletised feed to improve yields and improve bio-security.

The Asian Aquafeed Conference 2009 which will be held from 28-29 October 2009 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre will provide a forum for aquaculture farmers and feed producers across the region to get updated on the latest advances in aquafeed production, nutrition, health, formulation and trends in prices of feedstock.

The Conference is held alongside with the LIVESTOCK ASIA 09 Expo – the 5th International Feed & Livestock Industry Show which is expected to be attended by 8,000 delegates and trade buyers.
