LONDON - Kiotech International PLC said results from its pheromone-based fish feeding attractants in full scale commercial situations were positive and it intends to obtain full regulatory approval for these products and start commercial sales as soon as possible thereafter.

The company said it is in joint venture discussions for the production and distribution of its products in China, and aims to bring a product to market by mid-2008, although sales may be possible earlier.

Kiotech focuses on the commercialisation of pheromone-based technologies in aquaculture and commercial fishing. It uses pheromone-based products to trigger heightened responses relating to shoaling, feeding, reproduction and migration behaviour.
