According to The Ellstworth American, The new line of Scottish cold cure salmon will be carried by Whole Foods Market stores in New England as part of the company’s program encouraging consumers to make the best environmental choices. The product will also be offered on Stonington's Web site and other selected retail stores.
“The effort to support newly emerging sustainable fish farming practices in the marine environment is an important one,” said General Manager Richard Penfold.
He says that there is growing demand for organic products, and the company is reinforcing its commitment to be in the forefront of the industry when it comes to setting quality and product standards.
