Grant for prototype finfish containment system

MAINE - In its 22nd round, the Maine Technology Institute's (MTI) Seed Grant program continues to draw diverse proposals from all over the state. Seed Grants for 19 different projects out of 41 proposals were approved by the MTI board of directors, bringing the total to 118 funded in 2004. More than $180,000 has been awarded this round with match of over $300,000. Thirteen of the 19 awardees were previous award winners. All seven of the state's designated technology sectors were represented.
