After several years of research, technical specialists of INAPESCA in Manzanillo and Mexico City have achieved the construction of a cage that can successfully grow up to 2,000 organisms.
Fishermen have also been trained in techniques on the proper development of the fish, handling and sanitary condition.
They were also shown how to monitor the length and weight of the fish.
The technology will help fishermen to increase production and profitability.
