“In 2013, we had 70 exhibitors on the Danish Pavilion and this year there are more than 80, which is the largest number we have ever had,” says Halldor Halldorsson, Business Development Manager in Danish Export Association.

International interest

DanFish International opened in 1974 for the first time, and today it is one of the most important exhibitions in the industry. Among others, the exhibiting companies are attracted by a large international outreach.

“DanFish attracts many international customers, and this makes the exhibition an important event for companies that want to explore new markets. Many companies at the Danish Pavilion also use DanFish to keep in touch with existing relations,” says Halldorsson.

DanFish International takes place in Aalborg, Denmark, on October 7-9. His Royal Highness Prince Joachim is protector of the exhibition and he will open the event on Wednesday.
