Cold pond proves just right for trout at Bellevue, Iowa, fish farm

IOWA - Bill Bevan feeds his "livestock" by flinging fish food over the surface of a pond. Rainbow trout, 15,000 of them, respond by churning the water into a white froth and gulping down the food pellets.
