Pangasius fish sells for between VND15,500 (US$0.89) and VND16,000 ($0.92) a kilo but it is hard to buy, Duong Ngoc Minh, vice chairman of the Freshwater Fish Association told ThanhnienNews.
Minh’s company contracted farmers in the region to raise the fish on about 400 hectares to guarantee a stable supply, he said.
