Øyvind Fylling-Jensen

Øyvind was educated as a veterinarian in Germany and is a scholarship holder in veterinary pathology (NLVF), gaining his doctorate in veterinary medicine in 1985. He then worked two years as assistant professor at the Norwegian School of Veterinary Science. From 1986 his roles included being vice-CEO of Dynal, managing director of Fürst Medical Laboratory, sales and marketing director of Alpharma and being responsible for Fjord Seafood’s aquaculture activities worldwide.

He has been managing director of Nofima Mat AS since 2005. He is also chairman of the board of Bioparken and the Food Programme of the Research Council of Norway, on the board of LifeSciences at the Research Council of Norway and Chairman of Nord University.
