Dr Synnøve Helland

Dr Helland runs the largest land-based aquaculture research station in Norway. She has more than 20 years of experience as a research scientist. Her main scientific goal has been to contribute to the continuous process of improving fish nutrition and production procedures in intensive aquaculture systems in a sustainable manner. Since the establishment of the European Aquaculture Technology and Innovation Platform (EATIP), she has been an active member and serves as treasurer on the EATIP board of directors.
