South Korea's exports of foodstuffs to the European Union (EU) soared in the first quarter from a year earlier amid their growing popularity there, a local trade has said.
Yonhap reports that shipments of fish, including mackerel, jumped 134.6 per cent on-year to over US$21 million in the January-March period, with exports of farm products rising 65.7 per cent to $1.72 million, according to the Korea International Trade Association (KITA).
