The PHARMAQ group has a clear ambition to develop PHARMAQ Analytiq into the global leader in laboratory based analyses within fish health and fish welfare.
"We strongly believe that Siri has the right skills and background to lead this development. She has extensive experience and a broad network in Norway, Chile and Canada. Her hands-on knowledge of the fish farmers' health challenges will be valuable when developing PHARMAQ Analytiq's service offering," says Hans Vassgård Eid, Chairman of the Board of PHARMAQ Analytiq.
Siri Vike comes from a position as globally responsible Fish Health Coordinator in Mainstream. She will start in her new position within some weeks.
"I am looking forward to join PHARMAQ Analytiq and to actively develop the company together with the rest of the team, in close cooperation with PHARMAQ, customers and other partners. The development of a high-quality fish health laboratory is truly important for the global aquaculture industry," says Siri Vike.
Over the last 18 years Siri Vike has held various positions in the Cermaq group; within sales/marketing and product development in EWOS, as well as scientist at EWOS Innovation. She has also held different positions as manager within fish health in Mainstream, including one year as Fish Health Support Manager in Chile.
Siri holds a Master's degree in Aqua Medicine/Fish Health from the University of Tromsø and is about to finalize her PhD Degree from the University in Bergen.
