This meeting will discuss a recent report by the salmon Dialogue’s Social Technical Working Group, which is composed of experts on labour, economic and community issues from primary salmon producing countries.
The report discusses the social context of salmon farming in 3 primary producing countries as well as associated labor issues and impacts. At the meeting, Dialogue participants will hear a presentation of the findings of the report and discuss those core themes. Within this context, participants will also discuss ideas for farm level, performance-based standards to address potential negative impacts.

Salmon Dialogue To Meet In Chile
CHILE - The next Salmon Aquaculture Dialogue will be held on May 12-13 in Puerto Montt, Chile.
