ISA Confirmed on Chilean Salmon Farm

CHILE - Sernapesca has confirmed the presence of Infectious Salmon Anaemia (ISA) at a farm in central Ballena 4, Aysen, after obtaining positive results from sampling.

The salmon farm is owned by Cupquelan SA.

The company has now begun harvesting the positive cages under strict biosecurity measures.

Sernapesca has established a zone 5.5 nautical miles around the infected center. Nearby farms will also be sampled biweekly.
