Government Offers Tilapia Training Courses

PARAGUAY - As part of the Implementation of the National Sustainable Aquaculture Development project, designed to strengthen aquaculture in the country, the government has set up tilapia farming training courses.

The training courses will help train farmers at all levels to create and apply technology to enhance their knowledge and skills, and later, to act as generators of new knowledge which can be passed down to small producers nationwide.

The courses will be held at the Fry Center in the city of Eusebio Ayala (17km from Caacupé).

The main beneficiaries of the workshops are: 30 Technical Extension Directorate of Agricultural Extension (DEAg) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG).
