AQUAXCEL feed is designed for shrimp and fish. According to the Cargill website, the feed offers superior nutrition and manufacturing technology to help producers increase profitability.

The feed is also designed to meet the needs of juenvenile fish.

Launching the product in Ghana, Aquaculture Business Development Manager of Cargill USA Aquaculture, Claudio Paredes, told TheGhanianTimes that the products were from ingredients that reflected the nutrients required by fish.

Indeed the products guarantee fast growth, high survival and more profit, he told the GhanianTimes reporters.

Mr Paredes also stressed that feed should not be exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time as it can affect the quality of the feed.

He also urged producers to site cages in the water where there is a suffient oxygen flow.
