Mr Laxdal will support FVG partners in Norway and the Faroe Islands with an integrated services offering that includes clinical expertise in the use of FVG products including sea lice treatment Salmosan.
Mr Laxdal will also provide a new physical presence in Scandinavia for FVG after
14 years of directing his own aquaculture health and pharmaceutical
consultancy Lifsgledi ehf.
He holds a Norwegian Veterinary Degree and a Scottish Masters Degree in aquatic veterinary health.
Mr Laxdal has worked
internationally for Icelandic pharmaceutical sales and marketing company
Vistor hf, to provide a technical link between major pharmaceutical
companies and commercial producers of salmon, halibut, arctic char and cod,
until he set up his own company in Iceland in 1997.
