This is the second time the company is awarded Farmand-gold for its reporting, and together with the top score in Seafood Intelligence's benchmark survey of sustainability reporting earlier this year, Cermaq confirms its leading position when it comes to comprehensive and transparent reporting.

Since 1955, the Farmand prize has been awarded every year to the Norwegian company with the best and most complete annual report. Cermaq has been a medallist in the competition for the last four years, with bronze in 2010, gold in 2011, silver in 2012, and gold again in 2013.

"Over the last years we have received recognition for comprehensive, thorough and transparent reporting, both in relation to the global aquaculture industry, and in relation to large listed companies in Norway. This makes us very proud," says Lise Bergan, corporate affairs director at Cermaq ASA.

The Farmand prize is awarded once a year to Norwegian organizations that through the annual report provide a remarkable effort to demonstrate their financial performance, framework, vision and position for investors (not applicable to public enterprises), as well as other actors. The objective of the prize is to contribute to improved quality of Norwegian companies' annual reports.
