Professional fishers from France, Greece, Italy and Spain operating in the Mediterranean Sea will come together on the 18 September, 2012, in Brussels to defend a participatory approach to fisheries management towards a sustainable sea and aligned with the commitments recently adopted at the Rio+20 Summit.
MEPs, members of the European Commission and NGOs have been invited to the event.
The welcome speech will be given by MEP and chairman of the Fisheries Committee, Gabriel Mato Adrover.
