"The aquaculture sector has a bright future based on the price and demand in the market, as this has improved internationally," said the general director of the National Agricultural Health Service (SENASA), Jose Reyes Puerto Lizardo.
"People in the industry are satisfied with current prices, after spending several years with depressed amounts. If prices improve and volumes maintain or increase, the value of exports will be satisfactory and could go above 200 million, which is very interesting as a generator of foreign exchange and employment factor."
The Honduras industry has also taken all security measures to prevent Early Mortality Syndrome.
