The workshop covers every aspect of commercial aquaponics. Topics covered and activities include: UVI Aquaponic System & UVI-based system, fish production, marketing and economics, plant production, hands-on production, Green Sky Growers Rooftop Greenhouse tour, and a “Behind the Seeds” tour at the land at Epcot.

Attendees will get a hands-on instruction from the Pentair AES team and some of the industry's most renowned experts such as Dr James Rakocy, Dr Wilson Lennard and Dr Fred Petitt.

"Teaching at the aquaponics course sponsored by Pentair Aquatic Eco-Systems (PAES) was a real treat for me because PAES employees have an incredible depth of experience and knowledge that they share with their students as they guide them through all phases of constructing and operating an aquaponic system to establish a successful hobby or business,” said Dr James Rakocy, "Father of Aquaponics".

A few topics Pentair will be covering during the workshop are construction techniques and operation, pump set-up and plumbing with hands-on assembly, water quality tips and nutrient dynamics.

Workshop extras include: Training Manual, a CAD drawing for the Pentair AES Aquaponics System and PowerPoint presentations, lunch provided during full-day sessions, banquet dinner for attendees, face time and Q&A with the presenters and Pentair AES Staff.
