M'sia Can Provide Technical Help For Pakistan's Seafood Industry

KUALA LUMPUR - Malaysia can provide technical support for Pakistan's seafood industry as part of the move to boost business collaborations between the two countries.

"Malaysia can provide technologies for packaging and frozen food to help push Pakistan's seafood industry forward," Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM) secretary-general Tan Sri Soong Siew Hoong told reporters after a meeting with a delegation of seafood exporters from Pakistan here Monday.

"This is the first delegation from Pakistan's seafood industry to come here and it showed the country's initiative to be exposed to the global market," he said.

"We hope that this will serve a platform for both countries to have a better understanding of the industry needs," he added.
