Japan to analyze Vietnamese Farmed eels for chemical residue

JAPAN - Japan will examine three categories of food products imported from Vietnam following instances of chemical contamination, the Commercial Affairs Department of the Vietnamese embassy in Japan said. </b> <br><br> Only samples were examined until now but after the contamination was discovered, the department said, the Japanese government had decided to check all the consignments until March 31, 2007. <br><br> The three groups of products were farmed eel, including processed products; rice; and rice products. <br><br> <i>Source: ThanhNienNews</i>
