The business plan of HS.Marine was based on the observation that the marine crane market was primarily made up using truck designed cranes converted for marine use.
Observing the lifespan of the cranes on the marine market and the costs of the service at sea, they decided that the main issue was reliability, so they decided to develop a specific design for the application and to focus on quality solutions and on the quality of the components.
All crane designs have been specially developed and improved for operation in the marine environment. All structures have been designed to take up heavy lateral forces and to have a low value of elastic deflection under load. All parts have been designed and protected for easy maintenance.
Each crane components and each crane parts are selected and designed for long life.
In despite of the recent offshore and marine market crisis, HS.Marine is growing quickly: the main applications are fish farming, tug and workboat, fishing and offshore vessels. In relation to each of these fields, HS.Marine has designed special crane versions, meeting the particular requirements, in order to always provide the best solution.
HS.Marine has a very solid financial status and invest their profits in research and development, continuously improving the product and training the staff. Due to the strong expansion of the last years, HS.Marine is moving soon to a new facility (scheduled for the first half of 2017): 1.000 sqm of offices and 8.000 sqm of workshop is almost ready and will allow a larger production capacity. Furthermore, an additional expansion of 3.000 sqm will be built by the end of 2017.
