The key findings are:
- Production tonnage of Atlantic salmon increased by 12 per cent in 2009 to 144,247 tonnes. This increase comes after four years of relatively steady production levels.
- Production tonnage of Rainbow Trout decrease by 11.8 per cent in 2009 to 6,766 tonnes. This is against the recent trend of a small increase over the past four years.
- Cod production decreased from 1,822 tonnes in 2008 to 0.1 tonnes in 2009.
