Consumer Questions Needed Over Farm-Raised Fish

PENNSYLVANIA - Kregsville resident, Charles Price asks how many people buying fish realise that it's been farmed and raise abroad.

His letter in the Pocono Record says that most consumers are unaware that many fish products they buy are imported and probably raised in places like Thailand, Honduras, Vietnam, and China.

"What are those countries feeding these fish and why is it that catfish the only fish that is farm-raised in this country," he asks.

He suggests that US consumers should boycott all fish that is farm-raised in other countries.
