In the company's Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) certified lab, specialised chemists and micro-biologists work on the development and continuous improvement of formulations and processes. Quality Assurance (QA) falls under our ISO 9001:2008 and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certifications.
CID LINES works in more than 90 countries, on five continents. The company offers cleaning and disinfection products and programmes for each and every stage in the process : breeder ponds, hatcheries, fresh water tanks, bins, trucks, well boats, sea farms (including net washing) and processing plants.
Some of its detergents also work when diluted in salt water.
The company's disinfectants VIROCID ® and KICKSTART ™ have been tested at the University of Bergen, Norway in sea water of 4°C (39°F) against the Infectious Pancreatic Necrosis (IPN) virus (one of the most difficult to kill viruses).
Both products are registered world wide, per European Norms (EN) and North American protocols (AOAC) as “broad spectrum disinfectants”.
CID Lines also offers products and programmes for personal hygiene: foot dips and hand hygiene. The hand disinfectants (available in a liquid and a gel form) passed the EN 1500 and EN 1040 approvals and are even virucidal.
