The opening will be in the Gulf of Cadiz and south of Galicia.

The decision was made after an additional quota of 650 tonnes was achieved through a new exchange with Portugal.

The reopening, which will start at 00.00 am on Monday, 17 December, is to ratify the commitment expressed by the Minister Arias Caete, in the meeting held last August with the sector concerned about continuity of the work of Department to promote quota exchanges with other Member States, in order to achieve the widest possible share for Spain.
