Aggreko demonstrates cost-saving technology at Aquaculture UK

Technology & equipment

Aggreko, the global leader in power, heating and cooling solutions, is exhibiting at Aquaculture UK – an exhibition and conference focusing on the aquaculture industry and taking place in Aviemore, Scotland.

Aggreko will be focusing on how it can save fish farms time and cost and is responding to concerns in the industry surrounding a desire to avoid variations in temperature that have a detrimental impact on business operations. Fluctuations of just a few degrees outside of the desired temperature target can cause deformations and disease can occur rapidly, which can lead to whole batches of produce being lost.

As well as displaying their capabilities, Aggreko is sponsoring the conference, alongside supplying providing power, heating and cooling via its signature mobile, modular services.

Aggreko has ample experience in providing their expertise to hatcheries and fish farms across the globe. From supplying supplementary power for upscaling projects or if grid connection is unavailable, through to contingency plans for planned and emergency outages, Aggreko will be available to network and discuss this and more at Stand 253.

“We know that the slightest variation in temperature can have huge ramifications for businesses in this industry. This is why events like Aquaculture UK are so important. We can display our extensive expertise and industry-leading equipment that ensure fish farms can continue production unabated. Aquaculture UK is a unique sharing platform and we’re delighted to be involved,” said Kenny Law, Senior Technical Sales Specialist, Aggreko.

Over two days Aquaculture UK offers a valuable opportunity to network, discover new products and meet industry decision-makers. No other UK event provides aquaculture professionals with such direct access to suppliers from all over the globe representing all aspects of the aquaculture industry.

Aquaculture UK will take place on the 23-24 May.
