“The joining of these two successful enterprises will bring a new dimension of solution and service offerings to our customers thanks to the perfectly complementary nature of our product portfolios,” said David Webster, CPM’s president and CEO, in a press release.

“We look forward to the strong team and capabilities of the IDAH business to expand our global position in the aqua feed, pet food and plant-based protein processing markets. We are very excited to welcome the IDAH team to CPM,” he added.

Founded in 1974 by James Chang, IDAH has grown from a small plant in rural Taiwan to six global offices serving more than 21 countries. IDAH specialises in pelleting, extruding and drying equipment, most notably for aquafeed, pet food, snack food, and plant-based protein markets.

According to CPM, the “IDAH brand has a reputation for high-quality spare parts, machines and services and today is the number one shrimp feed machine solution provider in the world and the number one provider of aquafeed equipment in Southeast Asia”.

“The future of the IDAH business is bright as we celebrate this milestone of joining CPM,” said Chang. “Today, two industry leaders unite as one, accelerating our shared vision to sustainably feed, fuel, and build a better world and driven by our passion to innovate and create robust solutions that meet the evolving needs of our global customers.”
